If you use Home Assistant, this allows to control the stat without a cloud, but retain most of functions. See the link above for features. I tested both with my old 5 wire system and the boot up work fine. Just the stat and manual.

I do not have the original box. I bought them as they can controlled locally 100% with Home Assistant through their open API. Please research what you are buying and understand these require A/C wire for power. I bought two of these used Daikin Colortouch thermostats for my new HVAC install.
